What are Bin Wheels?
Bin Wheels are decorative wheel trims for wheelie bins — designed to give your bin a retro-inspired alloy-wheel look and a completely unnecessary amount of kerbside attitude.
They do not make your bin faster. They do make it look considerably less rubbish.
Do they fit all wheelie bins?
Bin Wheels are designed to fit compatible standard wheelie-bin wheels. Before ordering, please check the size and shape of your bin wheels against the measurements shown on the product page.
Not all bins are created equal, sadly. Some have different wheel sizes, axle styles, or wheel shapes.
How do they attach?
Each set is designed to attach securely to compatible wheelie-bin wheels using the three screws (supplied).
They are decorative trims, not replacement wheels, so your original bin wheels stay exactly where they are.
Are they actual alloy wheels?
No. They are decorative wheelie-bin trims, not metal alloy wheels.
They are inspired by classic wheel styling and made purely for fun, driveway bragging rights, and making every other bin look rubbish.
Are they suitable for cars, trailers, trolleys, or anything load-bearing?
Absolutely not.
Bin Wheels are for wheelie bins only. They are decorative accessories and must not be used on vehicles, trailers, mobility aids, carts, trolleys, or anything carrying people, animals, or heavy loads.
Are they made to order?
Yes. Bin Wheels are 3D printed to order, checked, packed, and sent out ready for bin-day glory.
Because each set is made individually, small surface lines or slight finish variations may be visible. That is part of the 3D printing process and part of the charm.
How long will my order take?
Each set is made to order, so dispatch times may vary depending on demand.
Please check the current lead time on the product page before ordering. We will always do our best to get your bin looking show-ready as quickly as possible.
Can I choose a colour?
Available colours and finish options are shown on each product page.
Some designs may be available in classic silver, black, custom colours, or raw print finish for painting yourself. If you are going full show-bin spec, check the options before checkout.
Can I paint them myself?
Yes, if you choose a suitable finish.
For best results, we recommend cleaning, lightly sanding, priming, and painting with products suitable for plastic. Always follow the paint manufacturer’s instructions.
Are Bin Wheels weatherproof?
They are designed for outdoor wheelie-bin life, but like any decorative accessory, they will last longer if treated with a bit of care.
Avoid harsh chemicals, pressure washing directly at close range, or scraping them along walls, kerbs, or the neighbour’s suspiciously plain bin.
How do I clean them?
Use mild soapy water and a soft cloth.
Avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners, and aggressive scrubbing. These are show-bin accessories, not industrial machinery.
Are you affiliated with any car manufacturers?
No.
Bin Wheels are independent decorative novelty products inspired by classic automotive styling. They are not manufactured, licensed, approved by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer.
Are these replicas of real wheels?
No. Bin Wheels are novelty decorative trims for wheelie bins. Our designs are inspired by car culture, retro styling, and the universal truth that standard bin wheels are boring.
What is Concours d’Refuse?
Concours d’Refuse is our monthly showcase for bins with delusions of grandeur.
Send us your best Bin Wheels photo and you could be crowned this month’s champion — officially judged less rubbish than the rest.
Can I send you photos of my bin?
Yes, please. We actively encourage bin-based showing off.
Tag us on social media or send us your best snaps for a chance to be featured in Concours d’Refuse.
Do they make my bin faster?
Legally, no. Spiritually, yes.
Will my neighbours be jealous?
We cannot guarantee neighbour envy, curtain twitching, or driveway admiration.
But let’s be honest — they’ll notice.
Can I request a style?
Yes. We’re always working on new designs and bringing more wheelie-bin style to driveways everywhere.
If there’s a particular vibe, era, or wheel style you’d love to see, let us know. We can’t promise every request will make it into production, but customer suggestions help shape future Bin Wheels releases.
More styles are on the way — because no two bins should have to roll the same.
